Never stop praying and meeting together

She loves to pray. She clasps her wee hands and bows her head. She reminds me (and the others!) to come before our God with a ready heart!

To have a church that comes together in corperate prayer is more than a blessing, it is a gift. Not just a gift for me to selfishly open and indulge in, it is more than that! It is something I have to share with others. If you are not in a place where you can pray for one another, our communities locally and globally, you have a gift somewhere waiting to be opened. Find that place! Go and pray about it and find it. I have been blessed my whole life to be involved with churches that pray.
That is what makes a difference. It is not the building, the size of the parking lot or how many programs are successful. Simply, it is God calling us to be in fellowship with one another. I  know I am here today doing what I am doing because of praying parents and countless others. Through my life I have had the blessing of parents reminding me I am prayed for (even to this very day!) not only by them, but grandparents and relatives and friends.
I know the impact, and our children are starting to realize that too. They love that the adults during our time of prayer upstairs at church on Wednesday nights means they are prayed for while the kids are involved in a class downstairs with other children (games and bible time). Bless those leaders that impart God's love weekly!! They love hearing they were prayed for. Thank you Grace for teaching me so much in such a short amount of time.

If you don't have a church community, start with your family and a bible. Simple and profound. God will lead you when you open your heart to Him. I love the memories of my dad opening the bible to teach us and to pray with us. I am grateful for a husband that is doing the same for our children.

Never stop praying and meeting together.

"We always thank God for all of you, mentioning you in our prayers."
I Thessalonians 1:2

I find myself in a place of gratitude for prayer tonight and trust you find that too!
